Biography

I was Born in Nicosia Cyprus September 19.. from both Greek Cypriot Parents. I have always wanted to get involved in Theatre and film at a very young age when I got my first chance to play a part in a school project of George and the Dragon, the we did Macbeth which again bought out the passion of crying out for more, I took the time between bringing up a young family to take up a 3 year course for Script Writing and Performing Arts at Willesden Collage to gain my Equity, again i had to push it aside because of family commitments , I started doing a little back ground on big sets and noticed the buzz was back,I worked on some very big sets with some very big names , Mummy Returns,102 Dalmatians,Last Chance Harvey With Dustin Hoffman in which I enjoyed doing a small scene with him, Then I went back to various workshops and learned my trade and then started to get some nice serious roles , I love what I do and I am humbled by my Journey and I am looking forward to a lot more, I have written 4/5 projects to date and filmed two , The Crappers which is a great story about a family on the bread line with a wheeler Dealer dad who cuts corners to make things happen and Memoirs Of A Dying Man which is about an old time gangster who is on his Dying Bed having flashbacks about his life with some regrets ,I love what I am doing and always ready for the next opportunity that life will bring me, Always grateful and appreciate everything that life has given me, Rene Costa
