Divi Prasanna

Biography

Divi Prasanna has led an extraordinary life. At 21 years, she is a second year student at The University of South Australia completing a degree in Business, specialising in Tourism and Event Management. Simultaneously, she is a model and actor having completed several assignments in Australia, a volunteer with two South Australian charities and now being launched as the female lead in the much talked about movie Hawaa. Divi’s work includes Motor Accident Commission, model for Silver Queen Jewellery, Luminary for Candid Jewellery, model for online fashion label Claddio, actor in award winning Gruen transfer advertisement on Abc National, actor in Hotel Mumbai and many others. Divi is also well known for her work in the community. At 16 years of age, Divi raised her own funds to travel to Sri Lanka and work in an orphanage. After her work experience at Intercontinental Adelaide, she was nominated as the Brand Ambassador for the property. She is strong in her convictions and yet gentle in her influence and is a passionate advocate for gender equality and environmental sustainability. Divi is currently in India promoting her debut film Hawaa in Hyderabad. The film is receiving rave reviews with naming rights already sold in Hindi and Tamil well before release with the young director Mahesh Reddy often referred to as Guy Ritchie of Tollywood. The film is scheduled for an impressive opening in December.
